Grape Ivy
The grape ivy is a slow growing ivy. The grape ivy has compound leaves that are shiny, dark green and pointed. The leaves of the grape ivy grow off the long, trailing stem of the plant. The grape ivy is easy to care for and tolerates a wide range of conditions.

Grape ivy can grow to eighteen inches in height, with its vines up to ten feet in length. This ivy is a low growing plant that has no flowers. The foliage is a glossy green that almost makes it look like wax. Grape ivy can thrive indoors, and prefer bright filtered light.

Grape ivy does not need much water, but should be watered regularly. It is fine to allow the soil of a grape ivy to become dry to the touch up to one half inch deep. If the soil is not kept moist, excessive leaf drop may occur. Cuttings are slow growing and hard to manage, but are the most common form of propagation.

Grape ivy makes a wonderful accent to any garden or room. They will add greenery year round. A perfect plant for indoor hanging baskets, grape ivy are easy to care for and can last in a garden or room for several years if cared for properly.
